CPE program expands accessibility and offerings to support accounting professionals’ growth and industry knowledge
ATLANTA – May 16, 2024 – FinQuery, formerly LeaseQuery, a leading provider of AI-powered solutions built to efficiently manage companies’ largest areas of spend, today announced the expansion of its comprehensive Continuing Professional Education (CPE) program to include a much anticipated self-study offering designed to support the evolving needs of accounting professionals.
FinQuery was approved by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA), an organization which serves the state accounting boards by maintaining the National Registry of CPE Sponsors, after a thorough review of its program. For accreditation of the additional self-study offering, FinQuery submitted a fully developed course with review questions and a final assessment, updated policies, and promotional materials for review and approval.
“The accounting industry continues to experience a reduction in workforce, with a significant decline in first-time candidates taking the CPA exam and older accountants retiring or increasingly leaving the field altogether,” said Joe Schab, president of FinQuery. “To support the evolving needs of accounting professionals, we removed financial barriers and scheduling constraints, increasing accessibility to the CPE resources required.”

LeaseQuery’s CPE program offers courses at various knowledge levels, including overview, basic, intermediate, and advanced, making it accessible to professionals at all stages of their career. Each course is meticulously reviewed to guarantee the highest quality of content. The new self-study programs feature review questions and a qualified assessment which require participants to score 80% or higher to pass, with the opportunity to retake the assessments if needed. Participants also have one year to complete each individual self-study course.
