George Azih
CEO
George is a leading expert in lease accounting and founded LeaseQuery in 2011. Prior to that, he performed Accounting Research and Technical Accounting for a Fortune 500 company, where he specialized in lease accounting, sale-leaseback transactions, build-to-suit arrangements, debt restructurings, asset retirement obligations, and purchase accounting. George graduated from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
Jason Parker
Senior Alliance Manager
Jason brings multiple years of audit experience to the team. He continues to develop his skills in GAAP and IFRS technical accounting topics in his role as Accounting Solutions Manager. Jason has a Master’s degree and BBA in accounting from The University of Georgia.
Emily Fish
Director, Product Accounting
Emily is a skilled accounting professional with over 15 years of accounting and finance experience. She was the Director of Finance at multiple reputable companies and is an expert at implementing the new lease accounting standards. Emily has a BA in political science from The University of Kansas and an MBA in accounting from Avila University.
Kiley Arnold
Accounting Product Marketing Manager
Kiley has over 10 years of experience in corporate accounting and performing month-end close for various levels and departments of an organization. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Oglethorpe University.
Olu Adebayo
Lease Accounting Specialist
Before joining LeaseQuery, Olu worked as a corporate accountant, where he helped prepare and record journal entries, reconciled general ledger accounts, and conducted necessary account analysis and research. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Georgia State University and a Master’s degree in accounting/business management from Walden University.
Adriana Alayon
Manager, Implementations Partnerships
Adriana has over six years of accounting experience in both Colombia and the United States. Originally an Accounting Trainee at LeaseQuery, she is now a Lease Accounting Manager. She is a graduate of Pontifical Xavierian University.
Abdi-Khadar Ali
Senior Technical Accounting Manager
Abi-Khadar is a graduate of Georgia State University, where he received a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in accounting. He has previously worked as an Accounting Associate and is currently an Accounting Manager at LeaseQuery.
David Buchanan
Senior Manager, Product Accounting
David previously worked at EY providing assurance services to public multinational companies and private companies across a range of industries. He uses his accounting experience and expertise to interpret complex accounting standards to ensure that new products, features, and enhancements comply with relevant guidance for our clients. David received a Bachelor’s degree in accounting at California State University and a Master’s degree in accounting at The University of Tennessee.
Myke’esha Bannister
Accounting Specialist, Payroll
Myke’esha had experience at multiple companies as a Payroll Specialist before coming to LeaseQuery. She graduated from Gordon State College with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
Benjamin Belk
Lease Accounting Consultant
Benjamin joined our technical accounting team after working as a Senior Auditor at a major accounting firm, where he led the engagement team through SEC filings of quarterly/annual results and guided clients through the adoption of the new standards. He has a Bachelor’s degree in business administration-accounting from Appalachian State University and a Master’s degree in accounting from Wake Forest University.
David Driskell
Senior Product Owner
David had two extensive accounting internships before graduating and landing his job as a Junior Business Analyst at LeaseQuery. He received a BS in accounting and marketing from Berry College.
Jonathan Grimes
Manager of Customer Accounting Advisors
As a customer accounting manager at LeaseQuery, Jonathan uses his experience as an accounting intern to help us execute on our vision to make accountants’ and financial executives’ lives easier. He graduated from LaGrange College with a BS in accountancy.
Sarah Burson
Senior Customer Accounting Advisor
Sarah joined LeaseQuery as a customer accounting advisor after serving as an accounting manager and financial analyst in the banking industry. She received her degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Carl Dann
Director, Professional Services
Carl has a background in the financial service industry. After working as a Lease Accounting Manager at LeaseQuery, he left to help implement the lease accounting standard for a billion-dollar private company. He moved them onto a lease accounting software before coming back to LeaseQuery as Director of Implementation. He is a graduate of the University of West Georgia where he received his degree in accounting.
Wesley Williams
Channel Partner Manager
Wesley received both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in accounting from Kennesaw State University. He brings auditing experience to the team from a previous internship, as well as a background in accounting.
David Duncan
Director of Finance
David Duncan is an experienced finance manager with a demonstrated history. He specializes in merging corporate FP&A and data analytics through statistical techniques and expert modeling. Prior to LeaseQuery, he was a senior finance manager for Microsoft’s Office business. David received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Washington.
Jordan Hand
Senior Accountant
Jordan was a staff accountant at multiple accounting firms before landing his position at LeaseQuery. He graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
Samantha Hart
Technical Accounting Manager
Before joining LeaseQuery, Samantha worked as an auditor at a Big Four accounting firm. She uses her auditing experience to research and monitor complex accounting problems in her role as technical accounting manager. She graduated from Florida State University with a Master’s degree in accounting.
Christopher Gwizdala
Senior Customer Accounting Advisor
Christopher brings nearly 17 years of accounting experience to the team. As a customer accounting advisor, he uses his expertise to develop lease accounting knowledge and its application within LeaseQuery. He received his Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from St. John’s University in New York.
Cortni Jones
Team Lead, Accounting Services
Cortni joined the LeaseQuery team with previous experience as a Staff Accountant and a Treasury Specialist. She graduated from Savannah State University with a BBA with a concentration in accounting.
Jake Jones
Controller
Jake has over 9 years of experience working with technology and healthcare companies to provide assurance over financial statements and identify areas for operational improvements. Prior to LeaseQuery, he was a senior manager at Cherry Bekaert. He received his Master of Accountancy from The University of Georgia.
Shaniece White
Technical Accounting Consultant
As a customer accounting advisor at LeaseQuery, Shaniece uses her past auditing experience to provide expert lease accounting guidance to both her team and customers. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in accounting from Georgia State University.
Hong Ngoc Nguyen
Product Accounting Analyst
Hong graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in accounting. She worked as an accounting assistant for five years and has experience as an e-commerce clerk. As a customer accounting advisor, she serves as a lease accounting expert at LeaseQuery.
Jaron Moss
Technical Accounting Consultant
Jaron brings extensive auditing experience to his role as accounting manager at LeaseQuery. He has served as part of the audit staff at multiple accounting firms. He received his degree in accounting and business administration from Belmont Abbey College and is a licensed CPA.
Rachel Reed
Team Lead, Technical Accounting Consultant
Rachel started her career as an Assurance Intern for a multinational accounting firm and grew in that role to become a Staff Accountant. She joined LeaseQuery with experience in financial services and accounting. Rachel received her Bachelor’s and Master’s in accounting from The University of Mississippi.
Scott Strauss
Senior Financial Analyst
Scott brings years of financial analysis experience to the LeaseQuery team. He worked as an investment analyst at a venture capital firm and a lead financial analyst at an accounts receivable software company. He received his Bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Florida and his Master’s degree in finance from Vanderbilt University.
Mario Quach
Team Lead, Customer Accounting Advisor
Mario graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting. He gained accounting experience as a staff and senior accountant at multiple companies before joining LeaseQuery as a customer accounting advisor, where he serves as a lease accounting expert.
Joy Winston
Accounting Specialist
Joy has nearly ten years of experience in the accounting world. Serving as a controller for multiple accounting firms, her history of managing accounting records helps with her role as an accounting specialist at LeaseQuery. She received her Bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from Wellesley College.
